Bearing a 4″ blade, the WD1 is our first limited production, hand finished stainless steel blade. Our blade is ground from .140″ thick, cryogenically treated, through tempered 440C, with a blade hardness of 55-57 Rc. This gives, in our opinion, an optimal balance of toughness, edge retention and stain resistance. The handle is machined and hand ground from G10 glass epoxy composite, and bears the vaunted Mad Dog® ergonomic design. Sheaths are drape formed by hand using aerospace grade Kydex 100 thermoset plastic.
Our knives are American Made and Berry Amendment compliant, with all materials American sourced, when available.
